I believe insurance conversations work better when we sit down together, review coverages, and make sure things line up with where you are today and where you’re headed. I earned my Associate of Arts Degree from North Hennepin Community College and went on to complete my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Thomas. Education has always mattered to me, especially when it comes to helping people prepare for real‐life situations with the right Auto, Home, and Life Insurance options. Community involvement has been a constant part of my life. I’m active with the Rotary Club of Park Rapids, where I’ve served as Past President. I served our country in the United States Coast Guard on active duty and in the Reserves, and I currently continue that service through the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as Division Vice Commander. As a veteran, I’m a member of the American Legion and participate in the local Color Guard. You may see me presenting the Coast Guard flag at community events like the local rodeo or WE Fest. I also serve my church as part of the Audio and Visual team, helping enhance worship services and extend access to those who are unable to attend in person. My State Farm career began on August 19, 1983, when I joined my father’s agency as an Agent Team Member. What was meant to be a short‐term opportunity turned into a lifelong calling. On May 1, 1992, I opened my own State Farm agency in Park Rapids, and I’m proud to be a second‐generation State Farm Agent with more than 42 years in the insurance industry and counting. On September 28, 1991, I married my wife, Jodi. We have two grown children, Matt (Cassandra) and Megan (Justin), along with two grandchildren. We’ve proudly called Park Rapids home since 1992, and raising our family here has only deepened my commitment to the community I serve. Our office helps customers with Auto, Homeowners, Condo, Renters, Business, Life, Health, Farm, Business Auto, Recreational Vehicle, and Pet Insurance, whether that’s protecting a family home, preparing for the road ahead, or helping a small business manage everyday risks. We work with individuals and families throughout Park Rapids, Nevis, Akeley, Osage, Ponsford, Lake George, Menahga, Wolf Lake, Hackensack, Pine River, Backus, and surrounding areas. We’re licensed to assist with Auto, Home, Commercial, Farm, Life, and Health Insurance needs in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
