I am a graduate of North Hennepin Community College with an Associate of Arts Degree, and the University of St Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.

I am active with the Rotary Club of Park Rapids- Past President. I served my country in the United States Coast Guard, both on Active duty and Reserves. I am currently a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary serving as Division Vice Commander. As a veteran I am a member of the American Legion, and a local Color Guard You may find me presenting the Coast Guard flag at our local rodeo or WE Fest. I am serving my church by being a member of the Audio/Visual team. Helping to enhance the worship experience, and to bring live services to those unable to attend in person.

I began my State Farm career as an Agent Team Member on August 19, 1983, assisting and learning the ropes in my Father's Agency. On May 1, 1992, I started my own State Farm agency in Park Rapids. I am proud to be a second-generation State Farm Agent. What started as helping my father for one week has turned into a 42+ years and still going strong career.

On September 28, 1991, I married my wife, Jodi. We have two grown children Matt (Cassandra) and Megan (Justin), and two grandchildren. We are proud to call Park Rapids our home since 1992.
